This Privacy Policy explains what information Chef Q's Kitchen collects when you use our website, place an order, or contact us, and how that information is used. We've written this to match exactly what our website actually does — nothing more, nothing less.
1. Overview
Chef Q's Kitchen LLC ("Chef Q's Kitchen," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy applies to kcqskitchen.com and covers our meal prep ordering form, catering inquiry form, bartending inquiry form, and any other way you share information with us through the site.
2. Information We Collect
When you fill out an order or inquiry form on our site, we collect only what you type in, which may include:
- Your name and phone number
- Your email address
- Your delivery or event address (for meal prep, catering, or bartending)
- Order or event details you provide — meal selections (proteins, sides, add-ons), event date/time, guest count, and any notes you add (including dietary or allergy information you choose to share)
We do not collect payment card information through our website — payment happens directly between you and Chef Q's Kitchen through the payment methods discussed once your order is confirmed.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide only to:
- Prepare and fulfill your order or event
- Contact you about your order, event, or a question you've asked us
- Calculate delivery fees based on distance from our kitchen
We do not use your information for advertising, do not sell it, and do not share it with marketing companies.
4. Third-Party Services We Use
A few outside services help our website and ordering process work. Here's exactly what each one does and what it can see:
- Google Maps — when you type your delivery or event address, Google's address-lookup and driving-distance tools run in your browser to calculate your delivery fee. Google may process the address you type as part of providing this service, subject to Google's own Privacy Policy.
- Calendly — if you book a catering consultation call, Calendly handles the scheduling and will have the name and email you provide to it directly, subject to Calendly's own Privacy Policy.
- WhatsApp — when you submit an order or inquiry, our form opens WhatsApp on your own device with your order details pre-filled. You choose whether to send it. Once sent, that message is handled by WhatsApp (Meta) like any other WhatsApp message, subject to WhatsApp's own Privacy Policy.
- Email — as an alternative to WhatsApp, our forms also let you send your order through your own email app instead. The same principle applies: your device opens a pre-filled email, and you choose whether to send it.
- Framer — our website is built and hosted on Framer, which includes built-in site analytics (visitor counts, pageviews, traffic sources, device type, and country) automatically on every Framer site. This analytics is cookie-free — it does not use cookies or track you individually across visits — and is separate from tools like Google Analytics or ad pixels, which we do not use (see Section 5). Framer may also process basic technical information (like IP address) as a standard part of serving our site to your browser, subject to Framer's own Privacy Policy.
5. What We Do NOT Do
To be direct about what's not happening on our site as of the date above:
- We do not use Meta/Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Ads remarketing tags, or any other advertising tracking pixel
- We do not use a CRM system to store or manage customer data
- We do not use a chatbot on our website
- We do not use email marketing software or send marketing emails
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers
If we add any of the tools listed above in the future, we will update this policy to reflect that change before turning them on.
6. Data Retention
We do not maintain a separate customer database. When you submit an order or inquiry, it's sent as a WhatsApp message or email — and like any message you send, it remains in our WhatsApp conversation history or email inbox the same way it would for you, until we choose to delete it. We don't use that information for anything beyond fulfilling your order or responding to you, and we don't export it into any separate marketing list or database.
8. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for adults placing food or event orders. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we change what information we collect or how we use it — including adding any new tool listed in Section 5 — we will update this page before making that change, and update the date at the top of this policy.
